How much money do we need to do our work?

Annual budget – $350,000 per year

  • 70% provides fair wages and benefits for our amazing staff
  • 30% goes to building maintenance, utilities, software, insurance, UUA, ministry teams, programs, etc.
  • Faith-to-Action giving – We give an additional $30,000 per year to charitable community organizations outside of our operating budget

Where does the money for our annual budget come from?

  • $280,000 – Annual gifts from members
  • $ 70,000 – rentals, investment interest endowment, fundraising, Sunday offerings and
    substantial amounts from prior years’ surpluses*

*Surplus reserves are becoming depleted

Our Goal

Over the next year we must increase giving by an additional $40,000 to continue to meet current budgetary needs.

Think deeply about your gift and consider this information from the prior year:

  • Range of gifts – between $50 and $16,500 per year, or about $4 to $1,375 per month
  • 80th percentile gift – $3,000 (20% of gifts are at or above $3,000 per year, or $250 per month)
