Whitt speaks to Social Action Team

James Whitt graciously accepted an invitation to meet with the Social Action Team at its regular Zoom meeting in January. He told us about sponsorship opportunities that remain for a marker on the African American Heritage Trail in central Columbia. He also spoke about the Sharp End Entrepreneurial Development Fund, which provides support for emerging black-owned businesses in Columbia.

Do you think UUCC should provide financial support for these endeavors? How can the Social Action Team best support the social justice work of our church? If these questions interest you, please consider joining us on the first Sunday of the month at 1 p.m. Just click the SAT Zoom link.
