9 a.m. – Forum Discussion Group – Lower Level-Forum Room/Library – Canceled March 31
Forum is canceled on March 31 for Easter. Read about Forum.
9 a.m. – Mindfulness Meditation – Fire Circle or Lower Level-Centering Room
Mindfulness Meditation takes place at 9 a.m. every Sunday. Beginners and experienced meditators welcome. If the outside temperature is 55° F. or higher and weather permits, meditation will take place at the Fire Circle behind the church. Otherwise, meditation will be in the Lower Level-Centering Room. 10:30 a.m. – Worship Service – Sanctuary
Easter Sunday – “Saving Paradise” – Rev. Molly Housh Gordon
Rooted in a work of theology by the same name, this service will explore how and when early Christian theology shifted away from an invitation to Paradise as a flourishing experience of life on this earth toward a focus on crucifixion, suffering, and otherworldly reward. What would it take in our own time to reclaim Paradise?

10:30 a.m. – Youth Religious Education – Easter Can Hunt – Lower Level and Outdoors
After a centering time in the Sanctuary at the beginning of worship, the children will go downstairs for the annual Easter Can Hunt Service Sunday. Cans found by the children will be donated to the Food Pantry. Free nursery care for infants to 3-year-olds will be available until 11:45 a.m. Read about our Youth Religious Education program.
11:30 a.m. – Coffee Hour – Greeting Area

Noon – YRUU – Lower Level-YRUU Room
Members of our YRUU high school youth group will gather for their regular weekly meeting.
“A Universal Symbol: Palm Sunday for Non-Christians” was guest preacher Rev. Dr. C.W. Dawson Jr.’s sermon title on March 24, 2024. His thesis was that while Palm Sunday is a Christian celebration, it has elements of universal importance for members of the beloved community. He explored the universal meaning of Palm Sunday for Christians and non-Christians alike.
