SUMMARY:Disability Justice & Inclusion Team
DESCRIPTION:At church and on Zoom - 12:15 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. fourth Sundays
 \nUUCC has restarted and revamped the Disability Justice and Inclusion Tea
 m (DJIT). The group is specifically for people with various types of disab
 ilities including chronic illness\, neurodivergence\, cognitive issues\, b
 rain injury\, mental illness\, physical disabilities\, sensory disabilitie
 s\, and more. This includes people who were born with or acquired a disabi
 lity or are disabled through aging.\nThe group will serve as a support gro
 up\, advise the board and minister on accessibility issues\, provide the c
 ongregation with education opportunities on disability rights issues\, and
  potentially participate in activism\, if there is interest.\nWe always ne
 ed community\, but even more so with the new wave of disability injustice 
 that’s been growing since January. Come and share what your spirit is fe
 eling and needing in this new\, disabled and chronically ill-only space.\n
