DESCRIPTION:This month\, I’ll be offering a discussion group and shared m
 eal time where we dive into our UU value of Interdependence. The 2024 Arti
 cle II revision has given us new language around how we understand our rel
 ationship to the planet and all its beings:\nWe honor the interdependent w
 eb of all existence. With reverence for the great web of life and with hum
 ility\, we acknowledge our place in it. We covenant to protect Earth and a
 ll beings from exploitation. We will create and nurture sustainable relati
 onships of care and respect\, mutuality\, and justice. We will work to rep
 air harm and damaged relationships.\nThe UU Animal Ministry has created a 
 discussion group curriculum called “Embracing Interdependence\,” where
  congregations can dive into this facet of our covenant. What actions or w
 ays of thinking does this value call us to in how we relate to the earth a
 nd the other humans and animals we share it with? Are there small ways we 
 can make changes or shift our thinking that lean into this value?\nWe will
  gather at 5:30pm on Sunday\, January 11 in the greeting area for the disc
 ussion. We’ll share a potluck meal together while we talk. In the spirit
  of the theme\, bring foods to share that are vegan\, seasonal\, and local
  when possible/accessible.\nI look forward to diving into this UU value wi
 th you!
