SUMMARY:Promo and Intact Canvass
DESCRIPTION:Lindsey Saunders\n&nbsp\;\nJoin PROMO and IN•TACT for Canvass
ing for Trans Youth\n\nPROMO is Missouri’s LGBTQ+ public policy and advo
cacy organization and has been deep canvassing on Amendment 3 around the s
tate\, using honest conversations with our neighbors to help fight misinfo
rmation and humanize our trans community. Amendment 3 will be on the Novem
ber ballot\, and would ban abortion access and gender-affirming procedures
for trans minors. The Missouri legislature is targeting transgender youth
in its ongoing fight against bodily autonomy. The message is clear – ou
r freedom to exist\, make decisions about our own bodies\, and live with d
ignity is under threat.\nThis event involves canvassing with a partner\, t
alking to voters about the amendment and sharing stories of real experienc
es. \nThose who have already been trained\, will review the conversation
guide\, receive a set of voter houses to visit and spend most of the time
talking with voters. Those who have not been trained\, will participate in
a two-hour training to help be able to connect with neighbors\, share st
ories\, and shift hearts and minds – one honest conversation at a time.
 It’s powerful\, and it works!\nPlease sign up at: https://www.mobilize.
