“Survival Is a Garden”
Rev. Dr. Molly Housh Gordon
So much is being destroyed, and still love persists. What if what happens after the apocalypse isn’t a wasteland? What if it is a garden? Full of seeds and compost and plenty of work for us to do, and so much that is ready to grow. Join us to kick off the program year with some deep reflections on our annual theme “Survival Is a Garden.”
In the spirit of courageous love,
we forge a community of radical
welcome and deep connection that
moves us together to heal the world.
We invite you to join us.
Aug. 31 sermon video
In her Labor Day Weekend sermon "Mutual Aid, Labor and Faith: A History" on August 31, Rev. Molly recounted a 2000-year history of labor organizing that she said "... shows the path to our collective thriving goes directly through communities of deep mutual and material reliance – that living our interdependence, act by act and person by person, can begin to change the social order."
