Ben Schulz was the lay leader at our worship service on June 22, 2025. In his sermon "On Drawing Near," he explored the difficulty of embracing the pain of others. "Where there's room for compassion, there must be room for pain. Where there is room for suffering, there can also be room for joy. But first there has to be the room, first we must make room to welcome it in."
