In her sermon "Grief, Praise and Belonging" on Aug. 2, 2026, lay leader Caya Tanski posited that grief is one of love’s deepest expressions.
She invited us to mourn what has been and is being lost, to praise the beauty and mystery of our living Earth, and to deepen the sacred bonds that connect us with all life and each other.
