The primary responsibility of the Denominational Affairs Team is to act as a liaison between our congregation and both the Unitarian Universalist Association and the MidAmerica Region. The team:

• Meets to discuss issues of denominational concern.
• Promotes education on UUA General Assembly social justice statements in collaboration with other teams.
• Fosters an understanding of and commitment to what it means to be a responsible member of the Unitarian Universalist Association of Congregations.

Through these efforts, the Denominational Affairs Team prepares a pool of people in our congregation to be delegates to the General Assembly and regional meetings.
