OWL training
The Unitarian Universalist Church of Columbia, Missouri, will host training for Our Whole Lives (OWL) facilitators from Jan. 13 through Jan. 15, 2018. Training will be offered for OWL grades K1/4-6 and grades 7-9/10-12. Registration will be limited to 22 participants. Registrations will be accepted online and by mail. OWL Training Flyer.
Registrations are due by Dec. 15, 2017. Registration fees are:
- $255 if enrolling online
- $250 if enrolling by mailing a paper registration form with check payment
- $50 late fee if enrolling after Dec. 15, 2017

On-site registration will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018, and instruction will start at 11 a.m. that day. The training will end at 4 p.m. Monday, Jan. 15. The registration fee includes lunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday and breakfast and lunch on Monday.
Trainers will be:
- K1/4-6 – Sue Ellen Braunlin and Carolyn Meagher
- 7-9/10-12 – Judith Gallas and Ashley Johnson
Participants must purchase and bring with them the OWL curriculum materials for the applicable training levels. The curricula are available from the UUA Bookstore. Some other materials will be provided on-site.
Lodging and childcare is not included in the registration fee, but our church will try to provide home stays for interested participants.
