“A Well Watered Garden”
All-Ages Water Ceremony
Rev. Dr. Molly Housh Gordon
and DRE Jamila Batchelder
Join us for our beloved annual water ceremony ingathering service, as we re-gather from the adventures of summer and mingle the waters that have refreshed our spirits. Together we build the kind of community that sustains us and keeps us well watered to thrive. You are invited bring some water with you from a place of refreshment (either symbolic of, or actually), which we will bless to hold our joys and sorrows stones in the coming year.
In the spirit of courageous love,
we forge a community of radical
welcome and deep connection that
moves us together to heal the world.
We invite you to join us.
Aug. 17 sermon video
Lay leader Kim Wade told the story of "The Night of the 37 Campfires" during our worship service on Aug. 17, 2025. She participated in a neighborhood effort on a chilly April night to keep the blossoms in a peach orchard from freezing by lighting fires throughout the orchard. In the process, she discovered what she calls "radical neighboring."
