Show Up Missouri needs our help canvassing as a part of their Get-Out-the-Vote campaign ahead of the Aug. 4 election. Krista Murray, a community organizer for Show Up Missouri, says:

“The Aug. 4 election is right around the corner. With big money pouring into the state from all sides to sway the will of Missouri, it’s time to step out on the streets and talk with our neighbors about what will be on their ballots.

“It’s up to us, the people of Missouri to demand we get a say in our governance. It’s up to us to protect the funding for our schools and infrastructure. The state is only as powerful as we allow it to be.”

Show Up Missouri is getting information out especially about Amendments 4 and 5, encouraging folks to vote no on both. If you’ve got any extra time over the coming weeks, sign up for shifts here. They will make sure you’re trained and ready before you head out to canvass.
