As Columbia prepared to experience a total solar eclipse on Aug. 21, the Sanctuary was full on Sunday, Aug. 20 as our worship service explored the science of the eclipse, the myths that ancient peoples used to interpret the disappearance of the sun, and the awe and wonder of myth and science both. About 110 adults and 30 children attended the service.
