“Sacred Songs in Sacred Places”

“Sacred Songs in Sacred Spaces” is a weekly round of community song circles at the places we love, co-presented by Compass Inc. and UUCC.

The song circles started May 21 and will continue weekly from 7 to 8:15 p.m. at various locations Wednesdays starting May 21 from 7 to 8:15 p.m. They will be led by UUCC Music Director Violet Vonder Haar and supported by Syd Hemwall. There is a suggested donation of $5-15 per session.

Participants can learn songs on the spot with no rehearsal needed. Come with an open heart, ready to connect and sing with others. Participants must register to receive the Song Circle location. Locations are announced each week through email. Expect both indoor and outdoor locations.

Participants are welcome to attend as many or as few sessions as their availability permits. Depending on location, carpooling is encouraged.

All voices and abilities are welcome. The sessions are open to all ages (but children under 7 need adult accompaniment).

Continuation and frequency of the song circles will depend on interest and availability of participants and facilitators.
