Faith-to-Action September recipient
The Faith-to-Action recipient for September 2025 is The Lajee Center. Based in the Aida Refugee Camp near Jerusalem, the Lajee Center offers help and support for refugees as they attempt to get an education, work, and care for their children. The Lajee Center is a bastion of hope and helps the refugees with education, farming techniques, a camp for adults and children, and school for young children. This year, they are expanding their Kindergarten and working on renovation and preservation of the Olive Grove on the Lajee Center campus.

Please mark your calendars – the next UUCC Honduras Service Trip is scheduled for Spring Break 2028.
Whether you ever go on a service trip to Honduras or not, we absolutely could not do it without the incredible support and enthusiasm of the whole congregation! THANK YOU!
Please email Allie Gassmann if you would like to get involved!
Thanks for feeding our food barrel
Thanks to all who put “assorted food items” into our food barrel over the summer. On August 22, we took 98 pounds to the Food Bank Market on the Business Loop. Please continue to feed the barrel, which helps to feed people in our community, maybe some of us.
