November Faith-to-Action

The Faith-to-Action recipient for November 2025 is the UUCC Honduras Ministry Team. Faith-to-Action collections will be taken on Sunday, Nov. 9 and Sunday, Nov. 16.

The Honduras Team has gone on six service trips to a rural area in Honduras, most recently in March, and is currently planning another trip in 2028.

Each time the team goes, they build latrines, which are very important for public health and environmental reasons. Materials to build latrines are costly, and the people living in this rural area are not able to afford them. The Honduras Team raises money to pay for the materials as well as for other community needs, such as a health clinic in El Pital needing funds to purchase their most basic supplies.

You will hear more about this worthy organization during the Sunday worship service collections. Please donate as you are able, either online or in the collection plate.

Faith-to-Action Recipients for the church year

The following organizations, nominated by members of UUCC, have been selected to be recipients of Faith-to-Action collections for the period September 2025 through August 2026:

Recall that twice a month all proceeds from the Sunday Service collection not otherwise designated will go to the Faith-to-Action recipient for the month. All online donations to the “Faith-to-Action” drop-down choice will go to the organization designated for the month. Please support these organizations during their designated month – and throughout the year.

Recent Faith-to-Action collection results:

Total donations for the 2024-25 year were $15,521.93

  • August 2025: $2,392.38 for First Chance for Children
  • September 2025: $1466.40 for the Lajee Center
