On the evening of Feb. 23, 2019, the UUCC Honduras Ministry Team put on its seventh annual Trivia Night to raise funds to benefit our partners in Honduras.
Fourteen teams of six people each competed. There were also 50-50 raffles, a chili contest, a silent auction and delicious food and drink.
The event raised about $3,400, with some more donations expected to come in during the next few weeks. Proceeds will go to a microfinance group, Adelante, that works in the area the Team goes each time and to support the health clinic with basic supplies each month.
The next UUCC trip to Honduras is planned for 2020.
