On the Sunday after Thanksgiving, Nov. 26, 2017, congregants participated in UUCC’s third annual All-Church Service Sunday. After gathering in the Sanctuary at 10:30 a.m. for a brief worship service, the participants spread out to engage in on- and off-site service projects. Later they regrouped at church for a potluck lunch.

Off-site projects were:

• Fence painting and ramp sealing at The Center Project
• Dog walking and cat socializing at the Central Missouri Humane Society
• Petition signature gathering downtown for the CLEAN Missouri ballot initiative

On-site projects were:

• Holiday bag and holiday card making for the Caring Ministry
• Welcome bag assembly for Room at the Inn guests
• Cookie decorating for holiday bags and Room at the Inn guests
• Phone-banking to oppose the Senate tax bill.
