On Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017, as we started the church year and resumed having two worship services – at 9 and 11 a.m. – Rev. Molly’s sermon addressed our worship theme for the year, “Weaving Resilient Community.” She explored questions including what are some of the characteristics of resilient community and wow do we build a church community and Columbia community that is courageous and committed in the work of love?

The photos below taken by Steve Scott are from the very well attended 11 a.m. worship service – more than 100 adults and some 30 children were in the Sanctuary at the beginning of the service.
